TCHS Football Alumni and Fans:
Thanks to your effort, the dedication of the Temple City High School stadium to Coach Bob Hitchcock on October 15, 2004, was a great success. I think you'll agree Bob was overwhelmed by the whole thing, especially the Memory Book.
My only regret was that we did not have any permanent signage in place for him to see. Within the next couple weeks, we will have a sign on top of the snack bar facing Temple City Blvd. That will say, "Bob Hitchcock Stadium at Arthur North Field."
Due to budgetary concerns and slow administrative process, it will be a while before we can purchase and install a new scoreboard that will reflect the new name of the stadium.
For this reason, I am spearheading a funding venture with the Ramrodder Booster Club to raise funds to move the process along. Please see the attached flyer (you can download a copy to print and share with web-impaired friends).
Anything will help: $20, $25, $50, $100... whatever you're comfortable with.
